Amphenol Procom supports firefighters in Australia with Mobile Antennas

Firemen and other Emergency departments in Australia have been busy lately with an irregular and huge bushfire season. Quality RF communication equipment is key for the safety of firemen, to stabilizing the fire, and eventually get it under control efficiently.

In collaboration with a distributor, Waves Australia Pty Ltd, we found solution which will help a fire department in the future.

To enhance the telecommunication a government agency in Australia has installed our ProFin Plus shark fin Mobile Antenna.

The antenna covers bands 4G/5G 2x2 MiMo, WIFI 2x2 MiMo: 2.4 & 5.8GHz plus GPS and GNSS. It remains fully operational with temperature extremes of -50°C to +75°C and has a water resistance to IP67.

The ProFin Plus now takes its place as the centre point of mobile communications and decorates their fire trucks to provide reliable RF Communication.
