Amphenol Procom helped Greek Aviation Authorities with ground-to-air communication

Reliable communication between Air Traffic Controllers and the aircrafts are necessary for an efficient Airport with satisfied employees and passengers. Below is an example of how we recently helped the Greek Aviation Authorities (HCAA) with safe ground-to-air communication.

The requirement was to develop and deliver 32 cabinets of 19” rack containing two Combiner systems and 55 ground-to-air Antennas. More than 300 measurements were made to comply the needed coverage. The solution was installed North West of Athens and on the island of Crete. The result was a secure and interference free ground-to-air communication system in Greek airspace.
