Special designed compact Hybrid Combiner for SCADA network in Spain
Amphenol Procom delivers RF-products to a broad range of VHF/UHF radio networks in Spain where new PMR and SCADA networks are being build. We are part of the journey.
In collaboration with our Spanish distributor, Artsys Telecom, we have designed a super compact 3 channel 50 W hybrid combiner (PRO-COM150-HDAR-SP32) specifically for these networks.
Due to a very little rack space available for the customer, the requirement was to build a special ultra-compact combiner fitting into a 19” rack and just 400 mm in depth, that works without a duplexer. This means separated Tx and Rx antenna ports, a built-in Power Monitor and a combiner capable of managing up to 50 W per channel. This was even achieved with a just 3 HU (133,4 cm) solution.
In addition to this, we have also supplied various products for this project like Omni and Yagi antennas as well as passive components, such as Cavity Combiners, Duplex Filters and Isolators.
