The 427x and 428x colinear antennas target sites where pattern stability, low PIM, and high PIP tolerance are mandatory. Both families use a centre-fed dipole array with a controlled feed network. This keeps the radiation pattern consistent across the operating band and prevents distortion when electrical tilt is applied.

Engineers working with high-density carriers, trunked systems, or high-power LTE sites will see the benefit immediately: predictable performance under load.

PIM and PIP Performance

Low PIM (–153 dBc)

  • Reduces intermodulation products at the antenna level.
  • Protects adjacent channels.
  • Improves uplink SNR in multi-site networks.
  • Supports dense sectorization without unwanted mixing.

High PIP (25 kW)

  • Handles power peaks from high PAPR waveforms.
  • Reduces risk of arcing in the feed system.
  • Maintains stable RF characteristics during instantaneous load spikes.
  • Extends service life in multi-carrier deployments.

These values make the antennas suitable for modern digital waveforms used in LTE and public safety networks.

Notes

  • Centre-fed architecture improves pattern symmetry across the full band.
  • Wide-band feed design allows stable tilt adjustment without E-plane distortion.
  • Low PIM supports multi-operator or multi-carrier shared infrastructure.
  • High PIP aligns with modern OFDM-based systems where peak-to-average ratios continue to rise.
  • IP56 and 240 km/h ratings make both families suitable for exposed tower sites.
  • Mechanical interfaces (190.5 mm PCD flanged base) simplify integration with standard mounting hardware.
