Motor vehicle antenna mounts are usually designed for typical roof thicknesses of 0.5-2 mm. However, vehicles are increasingly being constructed with thicker roofs. This is problematic, because it is not possible to install antennas with standard vehicle mount.
Amphenol Procom have for this reason developed and designed antennas which mounts are suitable for thicker roofs.
